Five Firms Send Lawyers to Give Pro Bono Advice to Refugees in Greece

Five firms and two non-governmental organisations (NGOs) have teamed up to provide pro bono legal advice to refugees and asylum seekers on the Greek island of Lesbos. RLS-Athens has contributed to the training with invaluable insights from asylum experts in our team.

We always support such initiatives as it is part of what we do-share our knowledge and promote awareness-raising for issues relating to refugees and their legal representation. It is essential that individuals seeking asylum on the islands of the Eastern Aegean remain a priority when it comes to legal aid and assistance in the asylum procedure. We are very proud to have contributed to this endeavour and we are very happy that such initiatives continue to take place.
