Family Reunion: Torn Apart

Below is the zine “Family Reunion: Torn Apart”, produced by photographer Sarah Booker, a driving force behind RLS since it was founded just over five years ago.

 

The zine is the result of Sarah’s collaboration with refugees in Greece. It combines spoken testimony and visual stories with extracts from the recent RLS report on family reunion.

 

What follows is a moving interpretation of the damage inflicted by European systems of law and policy. These systems violate the rights of people who are risking so much in the hope of building a safe new life on secure ground.
